Two days for 200,000 tickets capped at €19
OUIGO is releasing 200,000 one-way tickets capped at €19 including tax on Wednesday 2 and Thursday 3 September 2026. They cover travel from 8 September through 12 December 2026 inclusive, subject to the promotional allocation. The cap is neither a permanent fare nor a promise that every train, time or destination will have a €19 seat.
France and Belgium: confirm the eligible service
The sale covers eligible OUIGO destinations in France and Belgium; the official examples include La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Bayonne, Marseille, Nice, Lyon, Rennes, Brussels and Strasbourg. Search a one-way trip within the stated travel window and confirm the promotional fare before payment. It cannot be combined with another active promotion.
How to find a seat before the sale closes
Start with flexible dates, then compare morning, midday and evening. Test the city’s exact stations and calculate the last kilometre before choosing an outlying departure. If the €19 fare no longer appears, the train’s allocation may be exhausted even while other OUIGO tickets remain on sale.
A €19 ticket is not always a €19 journey
Add travel to the station, paid baggage, seat choice, OUIGO PLUS, OUIGO FLEX, pets and onward transport. A remote station or a rigid ticket can erase the saving. Compare the door-to-door total with TGV INOUI, TER or another departure rather than the first headline fare alone.
Included bags, the €5 add-on and the €20 station charge
Each passenger can bring one 55 × 35 × 25cm cabin bag and one 40 × 30 × 15cm hand item at no extra cost. An extra or large bag costs €5 when added online; a large item must not exceed 130 × 90 × 50cm or 30kg. If it was not booked before inspection, the station charge is €20, with a maximum of two extra or large items.
OUIGO PLUS and OUIGO FLEX solve different problems
On OUIGO Grande Vitesse, PLUS costs €9 and includes an extra or large bag, seat choice and the advertised entertainment or Wi-Fi services. FLEX also costs €9 and allows unlimited exchanges until thirty minutes before departure, although any fare difference remains payable. FLEX must be added at booking and no later than seven days before travel; PLUS and FLEX are free for under-12s accompanying an adult who buys the option.
Children, babies and the family total
The advertised child fare is €8 on OUIGO Grande Vitesse and €5 on OUIGO Train Classique. A child aged 0–3 can travel free on an adult’s lap with the Toupti option; a separate seat needs a ticket. Families should compare the entire basket with baggage and adjacent seats rather than multiplying the adult headline fare.
Exchangeable does not mean refundable
Without FLEX, an exchange can cost up to €19 per traveller per journey, plus any fare difference. OUIGO tickets and options are non-refundable. Do not book a tight connection after a flight, appointment or separate ticket merely because it is discounted; buy the flexibility before uncertainty becomes a cost.
Travel day: arrive thirty minutes early; access closes at five
OUIGO recommends arriving thirty minutes before departure and closes train access five minutes before the scheduled time. Verify the station, concourse, train number, ticket and ID before arrival. Grande Vitesse and Train Classique can differ in journey time, station and services, so read every segment and check live disruption information on the day.
