A pharmacy is not an algorithm
French pharmacies combine medicines, devices and dermocosmetics, but viral products do not suit every skin. Explain your skin, treatments, allergies, possible pregnancy and goal. Personal advice is more valuable than a copied social-media list.
Read formulas usefully
The INCI list names ingredients but does not reveal final efficacy on its own. Consider product function, texture, packaging, tolerance and fit within your routine. More actives do not necessarily make better skincare.
The short routine
A gentle cleanser, suitable moisturiser and sun protection create a stronger base than a pile of acids. Introduce one new product at a time and observe for several days. Persistent irritation, pain or worsening means stop and, when needed, seek a healthcare professional.
Makeup and colour
Test shade in daylight, watch for oxidation and try texture on a relevant area rather than the hand. Seasonal collections suggest a mood, not an obligation. One well-chosen colour worn often is better than a spectacular forgotten palette.
Safety and counterfeit cosmetics
Check the seller, seal, batch, period after opening and storage requirements. Do not use a product whose smell, texture or colour has changed. Counterfeit cosmetics and anonymous sellers create unknown-formula risks and weak consumer recourse.
