Paris Fashion Week 2026: calendar and guide
Nine days of womenswear in Paris: houses to watch, realistic access and a clear way to read a collection beyond the noise.
Nine days of womenswear in Paris: houses to watch, realistic access and a clear way to read a collection beyond the noise.
Dates to know
The Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear season is scheduled from 28 September to 6 October 2026. The official calendar separates runway shows, presentations and digital broadcasts, and timings can still move. Use the FHCM page rather than an old social-media screenshot.
How to follow without an invitation
Most physical runway shows are invitation-only. The public can still watch many official livestreams, visit open installations and fashion exhibitions, and experience the atmosphere around the Palais de Tokyo, Louvre and major hotels. A private-message seller offering a supposed invitation is a warning sign.

How to read a collection
Start with silhouette: volume, length and proportion. Then look at fabric, colour and movement before focusing on bags and shoes. A strong collection is not one viral image; it builds a coherent vocabulary from first look to last.
Houses and emerging names
Major houses set the media tempo, while presentations, showrooms and emerging-designer programmes often reveal the ideas that will travel furthest. Compare a heritage house, an independent label and a recent graduate: Paris becomes a laboratory rather than a ranking.
Build a realistic week
Choose two digital shows, one exhibition, one shopping district and a single evening event. Leave time between venues: travel, checks and delays are part of the week. Fashion is also visible in windows, bookshops, schools and the street.
