What was presented
Hermès presented its new home collections at La Pelota in Milan from 22 to 26 April 2026. Furniture, objects, textiles and spatial design were connected rather than displayed as isolated products. The result was a reflection on how we inhabit space.
The Stadium table
Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, the Stadium table echoes the curve of a horse’s back or the oval of a racecourse. Marble marquetry gives material weight while the silhouette remains taut and light, directly translating the house’s equestrian heritage.
Palladion objects
The Palladion line combines hammered palladium-finished metal with leather, horsehair and wood. Hammering catches the light and makes each surface feel less industrial. Centrepieces, pitchers and vases show how a leather house transfers its attention to gesture into metalwork.
Textiles and handwork
Cashmere throws, sometimes woven with linen, are handwoven in Nepal, resist-dyed and joined with an embroidery stitch. Technique creates the design itself: colour, edge and texture are not afterthoughts but part of the object’s construction.
What the collection says
The collection does not chase impact through oversized logos. It works with curve, density, touch and light. To read the house’s next releases, look beyond symbols to the meeting of material, use and making.
